John Dungan is a dedicated law and business professional who graduated in August 2024 with a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law and a Masters in Business Administration degree, with Distinction, from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He passed the Illinois Bar Examination in February 2025.

 

Having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2018, John has since immersed himself in the world of law and business. His post-graduate academic concentration was Business Strategy and Decision Making, and he actively pursued business law courses that contributed to his experience as a litigation strategist. His knowledge was further supported by clerkships at three different firms, which have provided him with valuable insights into strategic planning and transaction drafting.

 

Originally from Evanston, Illinois, John now resides in Chicago’s Buena Park neighborhood with his wife and their beloved dog. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys bike rides along the lakefront, a round of golf, and a day at the beach (preferably in Kauai, Hawaii).
